Christmas Festivel Entertainment

To get entertainment on christmas

Easy Christmas lights

Putting up Christmas lights is a task traditionally regarded as labour intensive and frustrating. Sorting out tangled cables, figuring out whether or not each component of the display will reach the power supply, securing it all in place and making sure it all does what it’s supposed to do- that does seem like hard work. Taking it all down is just as much trouble and a lot less fun because the festive period is over for another year.

Christmas displays don’t have to be a chore to be dreaded. Simple and effective ones can be created with a few separate, battery powered components that can be put wherever you like and taken down almost instantly. There is no need to deal with cables running all over the place and taking up every mains socket in the house.

Battery candles, tea lights, and novelty figures can be moved around to create a changing display- Santa can come closer to the chimney every night and kids will love the visual display of Christmas getting nearer and nearer.

While using batteries may not seem like an environmentally friendly option, the LEDs used in most Christmas decorations and figures are far more efficient than the bulbs used in older lights. Getting rid of old, energy intensive festive display components and replacing them with new ones will save energy. Rechargable batteries can be used in many products and are easy to find in supermarkets, so there is always that option for those concerned about battery use and the environment.
